LCD Monitor: my first vector

I spent a couple hours working with the pen tool and this tracer image insistant on making a vector monitor for my site... and I did it! I dont know if its considered real vector, but i used the pen tool for everything, though I did rasterize and blur the shadows..

it's very nice. If you're not going to keep it as vector - why not put a shadow behind it? It would seem more natural in the absence of a visible source of light.

thanks . its going to be an icon for my new site, after i scale it down of course... but everything is still vector except the shadows, buttons and light.

Heh, make a desktop theme out of those ^_^.

Very nice, although i don't know enough about vector work to give you a good C&C.

I like and there is not much else to comment on more than that the button are a bit drunk,...uhm I mean they aren't in a line :P

uhh... it's a manufacturing defect :rolleyes:
It's fixed now... but im debating whether or not to put more detail into the interface.. hmmm

edit: i went back and added some lines for definition i guess...

Indeed, I like it a lot though. I was reading this and was like "wtf, mihai nos and j0rn?" Then I realized it was from 2004. :P

Nice monitor. You did quite a good job on it. Now make it with the screen on (with the desktop showing :P)
