Hooray! Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.

Today is also my first wedding anniversary, so for the weekend we rented a little cabin in Gatlinburg, TN with some friends. It's a little mountain touristy town in the Smoky Mountains. Dan has been there, I visited him last summer while he was vacationing there.

And for my birthday I got a Wacom Intuos2 6x8! Just like Dan got for Christmas! Yay!!!

And from what I hear from my wife, Dan is the one that picked it out and communicated with the family to help them make sure they got the right one for the best price and everything, so a big thanks to him for the help. I just got home, so I haven't gotten to play with it yet. But I also got a "Idiot's Guide to Drawing" book from a good friend of mine as a belated Christmas present, so I will be using that with the Wacom to hopefully learn to draw...
