well on http://www.treefrogpro.com/about/aboutfrm.htm it has a different scroller for the about section and i was wondering how to put one on my site...

I think all he used was framesets. So check on google about how to make frame pages.

hunkorama417, i didnt mean the scoller where u use arrows but the one where u actually scroll down like u would to scroll a page. thankx newayz tho. marble, by frame pages do u mean using frames? because i wanted to do that while still using my tables. thankx newayz too any additional help would be nice ;) |

heres another example of it http://mapage.noos.fr/xl.web/projet/chcrea/index.html is it accomplished by using frames mixed with tables? I looked at the sourse (sorry if i wasnt supposed to..) and it had in it which seems to make the scroller...if so how would u make the location of the scroller different? thx in advance |

of course you can have a look at the source of my page, I didn't invent anything :D if it's the scroller decoration you're interested in its css style! here's the css you have to put in the head section of your page (only supported by ie5.5+) sh... I can't put the style in the post! so just have a lookk at "scrollbar css" on google |

im ot really interested in the different color of the scroll bar but actually how u got it there in the first place...hm...this is hard :( didnt know making a website is so frustrating

hasu: the scrollbar is in the middle of the page because its part of an iframe he's using (it's a frame that you can basicly put anywhere, behaves like a layer almost). in an iframe you specify how big you want it to be and if the content is larger than the fram those scrollbars will show up. then you add CSS to change the scrollbars on for that page how you would normally. here's a good explanation of an iframe and how to use it. http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/special/iframe.html hope that helps |
