I've been asked to do something that I myself think is stupid but in an attempt to not argue with this client about it I thought I'd give it a try.

I want to know if I can send an email, with a form. A text field and a submit button. The user puts the needed info in the text field and hits submit ans without seeing thier email client an email is
sent to my client with the subject line already filled in.

http://www.shavenferret.com/scripts/form/frame.shtml

Used this one for a long time. ;)

Looks like the demo is down but download the .zip and you will have your client jumping for joy in about 5 mins. of work.

Why do you think thats stupid tornupinside. Its becoming more and more popular, it makes sending an email much much easier. Just type what you want and hit a button, doesnt get any easier, ya dig? Just one more thing to make people lazier though, lol.

like sidez said.. php is easy, one simple line of code does the dirty...

mail ("to@email.com","Subject","Message here \n","From: from@email.com");
?>

bam, it's already up a notch... that's basicly it.. just substitute the subject, message and from and so on with variables from the form.
