im working with windows me and explorer 5 i beleive it may be six but i dont think so but anyways what are you getting at whats your idea?

also how can i get my host to support it since i figured out with that code above that it doesnt?

Well like Deker said, your browser has nothing to do with it.

If you are trying to run them locally, it's not going to work unless you have something like Apache personal web server running, or PWS with the php engine installed. You have PWS with ME, you might just have to grab your CD and install it. You can get php for PWS from php.net I'm sure. That'd be your best bet, unless you plan on actually running your machine as a host, in which case you'll want to download the apache web server for pws and mysql.

no im not using my comp as a server but out of those programs you listed which would work the best becuase which ever it is ill just download it off kazaa

I'd just download them from the developers. You often never know what you're getting off those file-sharing programs until it's too late. And I don't know what works best, since I don't use PHP. I'd probably guess the Apache web server. PWS isn't really a program per se, but rather a service that runs on Windows.

Kazaa messes up your computer really bad...my brother just had to format today because all the spyware crap that was secretly running on his comp.:(

well ive had to reformat my computer twice since i started using those p2p programs could you explain that a little more? spyware? and how exactly is it ****ing up my computer? i thought my problems where norton because their products are pieces of **** but maybe it was actually kazaa?

number1 dont use pws.......PWS is your worst nightmare for windows and php.......even if u get them to run together it doesnt work anything like the quality of apache......go download apache
1.3.26 windows binary from apache.org and then dl the newest version of php and set those up.......i just got php tp work on my win98 after 4 months of trying.....read the tutorials at robouk.com and they will tell you what u need were u get it and how u install..
they also explain the include function but the people on this board have already cleared it up 4 ya.....later
