i setup an apache webserver with php, and it all works, and when i followed the article on Automatic Web Design: PHP
i took panks advice on using the / slash before every filename so u can use images and stuff in different directories, well so far it worked but when i created the page in a different directory this turned up at the bottom of the page

Warning: Failed opening '/menu.htm' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\phpWeb\asdf\index.php on line 53

but i used the slash and the code on a different page that is in the same directory as the file menu.htm yet the images still show up in the different directory, whats going on here?

the code on line 53 is
<? include ( "/menu.htm" ); ?>
and i was told u dont have to chmod under windows me, but it works fine on my other page, so is the slash thing wrong, or is there a trick to this

if ' menu.htm ' is one directory back, then you are probably going to have to add ' ../ ' and if it's to directories back then ' ../../ ' and so on, that's all i can really think of to do, give it a shot
