ssi and css

I'm using an external css and was wondering if you could link to it within an server-side include...?

Sure, why wouldn't you be able to? It's kind of redundant though... To import a file into another imported file. But whatever. Depends on how your site is setup I suppose.

No, it's not redundant deker, but it keeping HTML and CSS sepearate. You have a header file which calls an external stylesheet and then a footer file.

I set up a recent site using the exact same thing you are asking. Works fine and perfect.

I think the question was more along the lines of using ssi to include the .css file.... I've never tried it though I think it should work.... Dunno though, maybe I read it wrong.

No, I think he's saying that he would like to link to the CSS file in in an SSI file.
