*chris wanders into weird forum*

ok guys, i'm trying to do something like this top nav on a site i'm working on:
http://www.southcoastplaza.com/

is there a good/better/best way to do this? i'm gonna grab the demo of dreamweaver mx, could i do it in there? i have no idea where to start with this, and i'm a designer and quasi-developer so i'm not concerned about "i coded it myself" or anything else, i just need it to work any/all thoughts appreciated, thanks.

chris

All the code you need is right here http://www.southcoastplaza.com/topnav.html

You don't even need dreamweaver to do that. Actually you are going to be better off hand coding it. It looks bad but it's really not. It's basically the same setup I use on the front page of this site. They are just hidden layers that when moused over are triggered to show themselves. You can get an idea from the tut I wrote...

I would suggest using pank's code rather than that other sites. The other sites menus don't work in Opera.
