i just thought that my site still looked plain with one color bg instead of patterns and gradients
so... i was wondering if it was possible to do

its 2 pixels wide and 1600 pixels high.

That's how I do my gradient background. The size remains small at only 2k even as a gradient. All you have to do is set to the table and you're done.
