Before i go off and d/led and install a bunch of scripts to find if its what i need/want/can manage i figured i'd post here.

Does ANYONE know of a good, simple, php content manager? I'm helping with my sister's site but the host only suposed php and she deseperatly needs something database-driven.

What i'm looking for is some sort of content submiter. Even if its only the admin it would be nice to have it so she only has to copy and paste an article in a form and have it automatically be added to the database and apear on a list on the homepage.(if possible it would be cool anyone could submit content

i was looking at phpnuke which, whew, seems very cool but OVERKILL in what she needs.

Thanks in advanced
(supports php4 mysql and cgi if thats any help)

I don't think newspro would work for what she needs (but i have looked into it :P)
www.babbleandscream.com

Theres her site. Its getting to be too much of a pain for her to do this by hand (IE she keeps saving over other babbles lol) she needs something that would let her retain the same basic feel of her site but let it be updated through a database (prefer database over text files)

She has users, user profiles, babbles users have written

I realize that i will probably have to learn PHP to make it look and act exactly as it does now but i need some code to start it off with.

If you want to get into the nitty gritty, take a look here:
http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorials/php/dynamic_php_mysql_1.html

That's a complete tutorial on a newsscript with PHP & MySQL
In action? Here: http://www.dmsproject.com/DmS/

Use it if you need it, you'll find it very easy to adapt.

Removed stuff that I don't need, like the search, etc
edited the codes so that I'll work nicely without messing up my site.

Although it might be overkill like PHP Nuke, phpWebSite is very promising in my honest opinion. I'm even written two plug-ins for it--phpWebSite Gallery Plug-in and a catalog system.
