hey guy, the layer scroll is set up fine... but I'm using grey matter a cgi based news script any how if the news is posted at my log.htm how can i call it to my news layer... is this done with ssi also wouldn't i have to change the scroll values of the layer everytime i add an entry? thx in advanced

I'd say use an SSI or PHP include. Just insert one of those tags in the table cell you want your news displayed in.

well pank.... it's like your news scroller when more content is added do you have to alter the properties of scrolling layer? also a question on layers, when aligning a layer will it be positioned in the same spot on all resolutions and screen sizes eg. 14" to say 17"?

I believe if you define the distance by pixels, it would stay in the same area because the same resolution on different sized monitors is consistent. 40 pixels from the left on a 5" will still be 40 pixels from the left on a 15123123' monitor, just a noticable difference in size. It's all proportionate so it's all good. |

alright, thx I just didn't want something that looked good on my monitor but was crappy on a bigger one!
