on this site well [link]http://www.teamphotoshop.com[/link] they have like boxes or black boarders sort of things going round loads of writing or pictures i was wandering if anyone knew how to do that if so please reply

I'm not sure what you mean....but:
If you mean the content on the right side of the main page, it consist of images, he has a "sliver" of the border in the background of the table... as he inserts content into the table cell the background image duplicates and tiles to fill the cell.
