Still working on my page to work in browsers other then IE Quick Question: If I have span { background-image: url("../images/mybackground.gif") } Do I still need to insert background="" for older browsers? Thanks... |

Here it is.. http://www.lahostnet.com/~crystali/ It seems to be working with Opera 6, Netscape 4.7, and IE 6. Netscape 6.2 Doesn't seem to work however. I attempted using the background:url(myimage), but, no luck.. |

If you want older browsers to recognize your background, then by all means put a background="" tag. However, that tag is outdated according to W3C.
