To follow is my template code I hope to use for all my pages. Can you see any problems, or anything I should add?

yeah

your alink and vlink are all going to be black. how is a user supposed to distinguish between text and links? What happens if you put the links in a large paragraph of text?

Are they supposed to move their mouse over every word?
