well have a look at this http://lillee.zealous.net.nz how can i change the scrollable area so it fills up the whole new body ( THe white box thingy ). I can usually just drag the box bigger but for some reason i cant now. if you need to here are the files http://www.geocities.com/lilleenz/Site.zip and then like just muck around with in DW. Then would you be able to host it somewhere for me to download it. OR just tell me in a reply how to fix it/ Cheers |

Your source code is redundant in the layer definitions. What you need to do is remove the style element from the div tags within DW's source view window. Then find the built-in style sheet and manually edit the settings for #divContainer and #divContent. Hope this helps you out.

<.style type="text/css"> #divUpControl{position:absolute; width:320; left:10; top:10; z-index:1; text-align: right} #divDownControl{position:absolute; width:320; left:10; top:270; z-index:1; text-align: right} #divContainer{position:absolute; width:320; height:310; overflow:hidden; top:30; left:10; clip:rect(0,320,310,0); visibility:hidden} #divContent{position:absolute; top:0; left:0} replace your style with that.. without the "." |

Ok, some explaination. to move and resize this div layer, a css style is used instead of directly on the layer on #divContainer << edit this width, height: you should know whats this top, left: who many pixels from the top, same thing for the left for the width and height you also need to change the clip:rect(0, width, height, 0); there hope this is what you need |

if you used dreamweaver for this scroll thingie ( with the extension ) you just can simple open the layer window ( f2 ) and select the layer which need to be changed and you simple can drag it to the height you want.
