I use Dreamweaver 4 and I am trying to put a news scroller on my page similar to the one on this site. Whenever I re-size the browser window the content layer overlaps into the next cell. I had ran this by Bob and he suggested it may have something to do with the alignment of my page. I changed it to the left and still had the same problem. I was using an extension written by this guy: http://www.z3roadster.net/dreamweaver/. I don't know if it is the extension, flaw with my layout or what. I would appreciate suggestions. You can see an outdated example of what I mean at http://pixelmancer.tripod.com Thank you. Tracy:confused: |

I assume you're using a layer to put the scroller in, correct? If so, there's really nothing you can do except put everything else on your page into a layer. The reason being is the scroller is supposed to float on top of everything else e.g. tables. Of course, this is what I learned from my experimentation with layers and I could be wrong for all I know.

Like Ax said.... If it is just happening in Netscape just ad the "netscape re-size fix" and it will be ok. its is something like <..body OnResize="reload".... I don't remember right off hand. |
