Many of you have heard of newspro most likely, im semi-fimiliar with cgi. But havent done much. I recently uploaded Newspro got everything set but my SSI code wont bring about the news.txt any solutions? comments? Thanks |

haven't play with cgi scripts for a while... php rulez.. anyway, have the news.txt been CHMOD to 777 ? or is the file wrongly directed?? |

Or better yet......Have ya posted any news yet? If so, check that the newspage you want is a .shtml page and not .html ..... If even so....Try chmodding the newspage (the .shtml page) to 777. I have a hard time getting the script to work on Mediatemple as I plan to use it on a subdomain wich is configured to work with CGI now. Pank? Ya have any probs with subdomains and CGI ?? |
