Dhtml Magic

I’m looking for a dhtml page scrolling script that can be activated by a single click. I’m trying to recreate some flash effects without using flash. I’ve seen a few sites where you click on the link to go to another page and the portion of the site that would be considered like an iframe simply scrolls to the next page as if it is one. I’ve seen it scroll vertically and horizontally.

I know that flash would be ideal for this situation but I’m really not a fan. Anyone know of such a script or know how to write one?
