i've been noticing that a lot of music sites have downloadable buddy icons that i'm assuming load into AOL IM when you click them (i'm on a mac so they don't work, i'm guessing they work on pc's?). i'm working on a music site and the artist likes this idea so we'd like to implement it. so two questions: 1. does this actually work on pc's? or on macs when its coded correctly? 2. anybody know what code is needed? i've been doing some googling but havent turned up anything yet. thanks. chris |

I have an inkling of where it might be. Just let me take a shower and get back to you ASAP. EDIT:
<a href="aim:BuddyIcon?src=url/to/buddyicon.gif">linky</a>
It should be IE only. |

http://www.foofighters.com/media/toolkit.php they have it too... can't you get their code or something? I don't have the time to go to all of their code now, but I'm sure you're able to find something there, or maybe email the designers? |
