Ok, I found this really cool tag script and descided to put it on my site. One problem though, I can't find the right path to perl for my host. http://www.familygray.net/tag/tag/ this is where I've got the stuff. Click tag.html and fill out the form to see what I mean.
Please, can some one help me find the right path to perl??

ask your servers administrator. You know, that "ask for help" email link that most hosts usually have on thier site?

The reason I say is because depending on what OS the server is running, Perl could be anywhere. Usually it is in /usr/bin/perl on linux...but on windows, it could be anywhere.

Hi, Hope I can help...

Maybe you can see the location with your ftp browser because you need the acces to the dir If want to upload the scripts there.

If your host support Perl the default dir could also be http:\\\cgi-bin\

hope this work for you .. goodluck.

That would be where you put the cgi/pl files. Not the location of the perl binary, which is what he is asking for.

Perl binary : the perl executable. The interpreter that the code from the perl/cgi script is fed to to tell the webserver what to do.

Uh edit :

NiX - Come to irc tonight - irc.othersideirc.net channel #teamps...you need some counselling on filesystems and executables.
