Ok, I admit, I am mostly a graphic designer and I am trying to get into making Web Sites for video gaming clans and small businesses. I was wondering what would be the best way or "thing" to use for the client to update the news, roster, specials, etc....I was thinking maybe a blogger?!? for the news? Any input or suggestions would be awesome

I recommend the ExpressionEngine. Highly customizable. You can do basically anything with it. www.pmachine.comwww.wordpress.org is free, but nowhere near as powerful or easy to use.
