Not sure what to call it, but I see it on some sites. Tried to find one that did it to get the code, but can't find one right now. When filling out some online forms, say if it has an area to put in your area code and phone number, with an input box for your area code, another input box for the first 3 digits in your number, and another box for the last 4 digits, when you fill in your area code, it will automatically jump to the next box, instead of having to tab or click inside it, is this javascript? I'd figure in my head something like, if maxlength=3, text2.focus, or something. |

A quick search on MSN for "JavaScript auto tab" turned up this, which is exactly what you want. http://javascript.internet.com/forms/auto-tab.html |
