fading buttons

I was going to chose a better name for this thread but I couldn't think of any that would describe what I'm talking about. Well i was just surfing and then i came apon:

and I was really impressed with how he made the affiliate buttons fade in. for example the button for sillium fades from a grey version of his signature then to the colour version of it. would anyone know how this is done or the script for it?

it's done by using filters in css...

the affiliate button is placed in a layer which filters (alpha-opacity) is set to about 20, when you mouseover it, the alpha-opacity goes to 100 (or 0 don't know exactly anymore) so, that's how he becomes that effect

Yeah i saw the cool buttons too on rebouk's site and i liked them so i just right clicked and went view source code and wala it had the address from where i coudl get teh code.
