Static Background Image

Progress! I am getting what appears to be a grey background in the et cetera box. Then again, that could be bad news...

It was the wrong code this whole time.

THIS is what works, not the one deker posted:

If you view source on the news.php page it is still showing repeating tags that shouldn't be repeating. so you still need to fix that. The image worked out good.

I have a question about non-repeating bg's in a table.

I can get it to work with IE, but it doesn't seem to work with Netscape, Mozilla, etc.

Any ideas on what will work for the bg of a table?
