making an intro for my friends site and i was wondernig what code do i use to activate a javascript function on the web page or to automatically go to a different page?

I think you can make the "getURL();" in AS have the url the way you'd have in HTML, as in a href="JavaScript:functionName()"

not sure what you mean tho...

i guess you want the page to load after the intro stopped?

Just add an action in your last frame of the intro that uses getURL().
