Two questions:
1) Is there a way to make circular slices?
2) Is there a way to make circular iframes?

The reason is I'm trying to make a gallery where the image shows up ina circle.

no and no.
You can make links with an imagemap tho, where there are circular areas to chose.
You could use a layer with a GIF that has a round transparent area in it, but that sounds like an awful lot of work, and probably not very crossbrowser.
