Help a Newbie ! : )

Hey guys can you please expline how i can use Dreamweaver to apply a php script ? And what should i write ? And can i test it on my own cumpoter ? Or do i have to upload it to a host first ?
And guys do you know some good script sites ?

Test is on your own computer? Yes, if you install Apache and PHP on your computer.

As for writing and applying PHP scripts... We can't help you there. Depends on the script you are installing or the code you want to write. Dreamweaver will not do much PHP code writing for you. You have to code just about all of it by hand. But you can use the code view in dreamweaver to do that of course.

Try sites like www.webmonkey.com and www.phpbuilder.com and www.php.net to learn more about writing PHP.

I have the MX version, is it someting special about it ? In writing codes, just so i know ?

U can define a testing server site> edit site > edit sit

U can quickly switch back on forth from design mode 2 edit mode lots more

Read the help files they got more info on tat.

Or the manual. You don't have to have server mode on to code PHP. Just type it out in view code mode and it'll color code it.
