Is there a way to block ppl from taking your images? |

Is there a tag or proggie to block ppl from downloading your images in a html document.

Not really. There are some 'no right click' scripts out, but they are completely ineffective. There are numerous ways to get stuff from a web page, if someone wants your image, they will get it. And if nothing else, the image will be in their cache anyway. edit- If you have Flash, you could put it in Flash, although the .swf will still be in their cache, they really can't do much with the actual picture. |

The most effective way I have found is to put invisible gifs over the images.....they right click....they save.....tomorrow they look in that folder and all of those pictures are 1x1 transparent gifs. Now like MBB said if they want them they WILL get them.. but this little trickery works pretty good. Also it should be mentioned that if you put invisible gifs over your images you will have to image map the invisible gif rather than your image if it is to be a link. |

If the user can see the image on the screen, they could get it. They could just take a screen capture and crop it. Just a thought.

so.. all in all.. the surefire way to stop people from jackin your images is to... . . . . . . ready for this... . . . . . . . Don't put em on line.. :| kinda sucks don't it.. (this post is meant to be taken humorusly (sp?) Snore |
