Transparent tables |

Hello I was wondering how i would get a transparent table on my site so i could see the background (when i say transparent i mean see through the table but having a another color over the top of it if you know what i mean) |

Tables by themselves are invisible if you dont give them any color attributes or borders. But if you want a semi transparent color then in a style set the background using a gif with transparencies. I am pretty sure you would then have a seperate img for each table, or you can give them all the same css style.

thank you for replying ive also found another way to do this using a bit code : img style=filter:alpha(opacity=50) you can just change the opacity up and down until you get the right settings |

Cool. That sounds like it will work just fine. You might want to check and make sure that is compatible with at least Opera and Netscape/Mozilla.

aren't those alpha filters ie only ?.. or atleast they were back in the day.
