ok, so im working on a web site for a band. They insist on having frames (which I really hate). This is why I'm here seeking some help. I have a main index page with links to sub pages in a frame within the page. Would anyone be kinda enough to lend a hand and let me know what the code is. I'm kinda ashamed to ask, but like I said me and frames really dont get along. -Thanks |

Frames aren't very "accepted" in webdesign circles, for a number of reasons, but if the client wants them........... :p To answer your question: You need to name the frames in the frameset, and define what frame is to be affected in the anchor tag. So if you have a frame with the name "kakka", you put target="kakka" in the anchor tag of the link. |

THANKS FOR THE INFO. Yeah, I told them that frames were not the best idea, but since they're the boss, gotta do as they ask. One last question though, i've used some html before in a frame that made the main page link to another. Is there a reserve html to that?
