background size for your homepage

1 I made the background for my new page..but the size is too small, so it continues on the page until it fills up the window space..i use adobo photoshop 6.0 and i need help on adjusting the right size so that the background won't repeat

I'll wait until that day comes...

you can use CSS to make the background not tile.

or you could scrap the idea of a single image background. some tiling backgrounds are decent...such as this one, but big single image backgrounds can sometimes mess up the look of a site - making it look simple and sometimes crap.
