ok before i ask my question here's what i'm doing. I've downloaded the mySQL stuff and installed it onto my comp. Now i open an MS-DOS window. I start off by doing this C:\WINDOWS>cd c:\mysql\bin then i type this in C:\mysql\bin>mysqld-opt here's where my problem comes in. Everytime I hit enter at that point MS-DOS slows down and glitches. it's suppose to work but it isn't. I did exactly as i was told and it's not working. Does anyone know why? I tried to work with it all day yesterday and nothing worked. ARG! |
