I'm thinking about purchasing this, but I'd like opinions on what you think it might take to hire a PHP developer to make something like this.

How many hours do you think it would take to build something like that in PHP?

Thanks guys

Quite a few as in, 100, or as in 1000, or well over that? I'm trying to justify the cost here.

probably take me about 100-300 hours. maybe less, maybe more, depending on what you want. but don't go by hours either, because i'm still an amateur.

Yeah, i'd say 100 - 200. but i don't really know. because i don't program. it would probably take me that long to do something like that actually. so someone that actually knew what they were doing could probably do it a lot faster.

Why waste your money when you can go with a CMS like phpWebSite (http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu) and create a simple module for very little time and hardly any money?

To answer your question, though. It'd take quite some time to build and a lot of dough. So if you don't want to go with a CMS, I recommend you purchase this because it's a fraction of what you'll spend if you hire someone.

You can also use http://jonroig.com/freecode/
It is already written and very easy to install. I am currently using it on a Realtor site and I highly recommend it.

It would probably take you about 60 hours i think, if you know what you're doing. I personally wouldn't pay for that, i would either do it by myself or get one for free from http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/
