Is it possible to have a submit button when pressed to open a new browser window for that particular action? for example an email login...after pressing login, it opens another blank browser? Thanks.

Add target="_blank" to your <form></form> tag like so..

<form method="post" action="cgiscript.cgi" target="_blank">
