Does anyone know how to make an image generator that takes images of letters and puts them together to form a word typed in by the user such as the one on www.cooltext.com?

It wouldn't be that hard to make, but it's very unlikely that you'll be able to create things like this on the client-side. Your going to need to know a scripting language (e.g. PHP, Perl, Python, etc.) and a have access to a server side image manipulation program (GDlib, ImageMagick, etc.). This is not for the faint of heart.

If you're willing to pay, I can do it. Contact me @ andrew at digi-fx dot net if you want. But I don't have the time to do this for free.

..it could be done with ClientSideJavaScript too, but not in the way that the visitor could simple save the image. You could always have the visitor hit PrintScreen.... rofl. :p
