FREE WEB HOSTS - PROS AND CONS:

CONCLUSION: It seems to me that there are four free web hosting sites worth signing up for and they are. There might be some things that I overlooked, and in that case, please contact me so that they can be fixed. The top four are, in no particular order:

t35.com - http://www.t35.com

brinkster - http://www.brinkster.com

coolfreepages - http://coolfreepages.com

fateback.com - http://www.fateback.com

-------------------------------

https://www.doteasy.com - Decent free hosting I guess, but you have to buy a domain at which to host it.

http://www.liquid2k.com - Looks decent, but if you have a free e-mail account (hotmail.com, etc.), you can't sign up.

http://www.brinkster.com - Good web hosting.

http://www.free-php-hosting.com - And you thought that all of these links here were confusing. Click to see what I mean.

http://www.boomspeed.com - The site looks like it was made by my baby brother and there are no free accounts to sign up for.

http://www.hypermart.net - You have to hunt around for it, but they offer free accounts if you want banner ads on your site.

http://www.homestead.com - Looks to me like you can try it for free, but to actually keep an account, you have to pay.

http://www.freeserve.co.uk - Its probably there, but I didn't have the patience to find any free hosting on this site.

http://www.portland.co.uk - For portland, you must have or buy a domain name to take advantage of their free web hosting.

http://coolfreepages.com - Looks to be one of the best free web hosts.

http://www.aspfreeserver.com - "free subdomain hosting is down at the moment"

http://www.spaceports.com - I don't see that they offer free hosting but maybe they do.

http://virtue.nu - Looks pretty decent - says it offers FTP hosting.

http://www.sphosting.com - Looks alright to me.

http://www.port5.com - I guess the hosting is decent but you'd think that they'd make their site a little prettier.

http://www.eccentrix.com - Looks pretty good actually.

http://www.fateback.com - Found this from deluxnetwork.com, too. It claims no banners or pop-ups and FTP so I signed up.

http://www.netfirms.com - Got to have or buy a domain

http://www.t35.com:8080 - Despite promising no pop-ups, t35 still adds a line of code to ensure that your visitors recieve a pop-up surprise when they enter. The FTP support is major a plus, though.

http://www.freewebs.com is pretty good too. 40MB space, 500MB bandwidth w/no ads. Not bad for a basic file dump or whatnot.

Free f2o.org Hosting
This is our bread and butter, and by far the most popular plan we provide. It provides access to ASP, Cold Fusion, PHP, Perl, and Python. It also includes:
yourname.f2o.org subdomain
One MySQL database
75MB disk space
3GB data transfer/month
yourname.f2o.org email (via POP3 or webmail)

f2o.org seemed like the best free hosting ever well that's what happens when people take things for granted and starting to abuse all the freedom they have so it's forced not accepting more members but you can still get a referral code from some member pages

What do you guys think of http://reg.ariadomain.com/? I just googled free domain names, and this was in the right, like one of the sites that had actually recieved some kind of rating. It sounds pretty good.

I dunno.

what do you think?

Here you have a searchsite for free webhosting freewebspace

I found this one, wich I'm gonna try out, It gets 10 out of 10 in a review. 250 Mb Storage, Unlimited bandwidth (metered), PHP, Pearl, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Unlimited POP 3 E-mail accounts. That 10 out of 10 grade was due to speed, up time and uploading features, I think ;) Seems nice, tho...for a poor webguy like me

Well, I don't think it's free, unless you register a domain.

from their site
Register a domain name and receive free web hosting for the whole term of the registration. With prices starting from only $19.95 per year
