My sister

I'm still not sure which has a greater learning curve ----> photoshop or this message board Anyways, this is a picture of my sister, edited up a bit, with a soft picture overlay. Her boyfriend wanted a cool picture for his cd cover (techno), and this is what i came up with, what you guys and gals think or suggest?

You can´t really just put 50% opacity on them both, know what I mean?... It has to have a "form" of some kind... ..

Thanks people. Your right, it is about a 50% opac. but most of the work went into my sister, and its hard to see what was done. Maybe ill drop it down, and edit the top pic so it looks more clear, and lined up.

As for the webpage not showing up, that's happened a few times, so I have no idea. last time dragging the link into the address bar worked last time, but I'm not sure.

to tell ya the truth i like it ALOT, it does everything a peice of art is suppose to do, it makes you move your eye and study it, the harder it is to make stuff out makes it fun to look at, but would suggest maybe ploping your sis as the front layer, making her opac. a bit more thick and balanced, then instead of messing with the opac. on the overlaying image, make it a watermark so it is very light in the background, that is how i would do it, but thats just me, but i think its good how it is already, id ship it now, but you also have to think about how it wil print, my prints always come a bit diff. out, when i did this DVD case once it came out lighter then i wanted, so i had to go in and mess around, (i think there printer was screwed up) but still.....i like it =)

Well I still don't like it.

well you cant please all the people all the time. But at least i pleased one. I like how you have to look hard to see the pics, but maybe since i already know they're there that it's easier for me to see the two images. Thanks for the CONSTRUCTIVE critisism as well. Unfortunalty just yesterday morning my house was broken into, and my laptop was one of the things stolen. So much for that pic... but someday I'll get enough money, pay back student loans, and come back with a picture that maybe even NOA likes.
