Newbie Picture. . . .

I was going through this forum and was humbled by the amount of amazing work that is here. I only started using photoshop last year and don't know how to work any 3d programs. I tried to make a 3d picture that maybe looked like some of your works. I know I am not that good when compared to you all but anyways here is the pic I made in Photoshop, I was hoping you could maybe give me some pointers on how to improve it ^_^

That is a truely beautiful image... really.
the only thing that really looked like it needed work was at the left where the "squiggly line thingy" connects to the "info panel thingy" ;)
The connection just jumps out at me and doesn't look very good.
Other than that, I really like it alot.

Thanks for your advice. Is it just to abrupt or should I keep it and maybe tone down the "squigllyness"?

I would take the squiggly lines out all together. The graphic looks real good.......

Thanks I think I will do that, or perhaps I will recreate the picture altogeather using tips that you all give me ^_^?
