lol, sort of ironic, your picture is 666k large (shudder). Took sooo long to load. Em, it's good, but it's not my cuppa tea. Too much 'noise' or something. Plus the fact that i've seen waayyyyyy too many American pride pics....

:D

Well I don't care about size anymore, since everybody has broadband connection now. If your 56k, I recommend upgrading...

Uhm, that takes money, something i don't have a lot of. It takes 5 seconds to save the pic as a gif, stop being lazy and stop getting us annoyed at long loading times!

Loon,

Not everyone uses broadband. It isn't even available in quite a few areas. Don't put people down because they don't have a fast internet connection. Also, close to 50% of the people on the internet use AOL, and most of those are on dial up. Broadband is still the minority, so don't assume everyone has a fast connection and disregard file sizes. I have cable, and I still don't like sitting around waiting for a 600k image to download. It's very easy to optimize your images with no quality loss, so there is really no excuse not to do it, no matter how fast internet connections get.

Exactly, Deker you took it out of my mouth. I'm actually using NTL (irish company) and i get the internet for absolutly free, no charges at all. I get cut off every 2 hours but that's all so i'm pretty happy. That doesn't matter though, i still dont want to wait that long just to see a picture i didn't really take to that much. A dithered gif would give you the same result @ a lot smaller size, so think b4 u post!
