Book Cover Illustration - 120K

Here's a cover I painted in PS CS2 only. It's for a fantasy anthology that a story of my wifey's was chosen for--so I agreed to paint the cover.

I'll post the final version with cover text, etc., once the publisher finishes it.

Pretty nice...Hey, did oyu make the hand and apple, and the fairies from scratch? Or are those self-rendered images?

Every pixel was painted in PS, I'm not familiar with the term 'self-rendered images'.

I often use photographs for reference when painting, but I don't photo-manip for illustrations. Just seems like cheating to me...

OMG!!!! The publisher hacked this illustration to bits and used it like clip art!
