Looks good. I'm a noob too so I can relate . One question, how did you get that "circut board" effect under the grid?

filter >> render >> clouds

then

filter >> pixalize >> mosaiac (pick a value of 5 or 10)

then

filter >> stylize >> find edges

then

filter >> stylize >> glowin edges (play around with the values untill you like it)
