very very nice. I know I'm the details freak but .. some undertones and/or a few loose finer strands would help a lot I think. I think I just compare it with the area around the ear - wich is almost photoperfect ... I get the feeling it looks coarser than it should. I know it's torture making hair - and this is one of the best renderings ![]() Awesome! ![]() |

I actually really like doing hair. It's funny that you mention the stray hairs because this girl is straight out of a shampoo commercial. Her hair falls in these perfect clumps...I feel like a stalker :o I could try adding some strays for effect. Thanks. :edit: A little background. I did the initial sketch in one of my classes, then went home and painted it. So pretty much just going off of this and using my imagi-ma-nation. http://www.naputi.com/stuft/pic/christineCON.jpg |

I try to stay away from hair as much as I can because hair is where you can add as many details as you want.. and still be able to add more.. and more... and more.. and it catches you and you never finish... and then...as soon as you add a little more to a small area you look at it and figure what the heck it would be great if all would be like that and ...yeah... *did you draw the back of one of your colleagues in class? the girl in front of you maybe? :P |

Okay, it was in statistics. The mean, standard deviation, and interquartile range bore me. I have to do something to stay awake :p
