I Smashed My Finger

I smashed my finger the other day. And all the blood vessels popped. Now it looks like there is pepper sprinkled on my fingertip. But it's blood.

I took this picture of it left handed. That's why it's not quite in focus. Also I decided that manual focus with no focus ring ****ing sucks. How hard can it be to put a freakin' ring on the thing to focus the lens. They do it on $200 slr film cameras. Bah.

Oh, and I'm not really looking for comments on the composition or anything, obviously. I just want you all to see my wounds.

I also took these of my dog, with both hands, so they are in focus. She's a pretty good model, though she got tired of the lens being 1 inch from her eyeball after a while and moved to the other side of the bed so I left her alone.
