nice, they will appreciate it. i like the background. though you might want to make the text stick out a lil more. maybe a 1-3 pixel black line around the text. (not like a rectangle, like a black line around the edge of the text)

12???!? pretty good, nice job taking out the pics of your parents, ps6user is right though, the text could use a little more, if you still have time look around for tutorials on different text effects and maybe add one, there are tons of tuts out there.

Hey great job!.....Here's a tip......I can still see a little light glow around the edge of your parents..It this is what you wanted , well then great, but if yuou want it seamless, you can zoom in super close to the edges and using the eraser at a fairly low opacity you can erase the rough edges....Takes a little time but the effect rocks!!!!

I think he wanted the glow, looks like Layer Effects.

Make the text have a Drop Shadow, or make your own blurred black shape behind it. That'll make it more legible. Oh, by the way, I'm a bit young too, so don't worry ;).
