This is my first attempt at vector stuff - I started out with a picture of my girlfriend - it was her birthday and I indended it as a gift... Only Photoshop used - the pen tool - I have all bits and pieces saved as custom shapes and as paths - I didn't know which I'd be needing lol - I thought it would be much more complicated - but I'll say this - it takes a looong time.... So here goes: small extra large - more detail |

looks cool... leaning slightly to the left.... rotate her! also, use a gradient as the background, vector art looks really clean against gradients.... smooth work ![]() (you say thats from a photo!?!?) |

I love the body and the shadows.. The face is a bit more plain than the rest of the image.. But still nice... |

uhh - yeah - the reason the face is plainer is that somehow the colors for the face were not saved real good the shadows were subtler there than on the rest of the body- I don't know - maybe I've screwed up somewhere. I know I was supposed to use a lot less colors but since it was my first time I really wanted to see how "realistic" I could get.
