Has anyone here had any experiences with this camera? My dad is thinking of getting one... actually, not thinking, but pretty much getting one.

It's small, nice zoom, good battery life, has dock, LOTS (~30) shooting modes, nice menus...

But it's a Casio... can one really trust a company that makes plastic watches with a digital camera? (although I have one of those watches that's still going after about 8 years).

Ugh, that's what I see in all reviews for this camera... great all around... but... CRAPPY QUALITY IMAGES

Soo... do you have another camera for around $400 to suggest?

I hear that the Canon Powershot A80 is a pretty good camera, my neighbors have one and I love it.

I've got a CanonPowershot S50, and I don't have any complaints about it, it works great for me and even survived a wave of water in Hawaii. :-o
