If you had to buy a new camera, what would you be willing to pay?

Actually ive changed my mind. Ispired by Malevolent_Jester...
im going to make a kids pinhole camera... basically poke a hole in a shoebox and tape a piece of wax paper inside. I think thats a cheap as it can get lol

edit: Funny thing is that 7.99 camera probably beats all our expensive digitals. Film always beats digital.

I'll put in my 2 cents to liven up this section too ;) . I saw a pretty funny bit on comedy central about digital cameras, The Daily Show to be precise. If you haven't seen it, it basically poked fun at the usefullness of the digital camera. The size/price/errors/bugs/and of course the cost of a printer and gloss paper to print out the photos for yourself at sub-standard quality and greater cost . But for some reason we all love the digital camera, even though you can get your pictures from a normal camera put on CD along with your normal, high quality prints. But alas the old problem of human reasoning: short term gratification vs. long term benefit. Then again, if you never want gloss prints of your photos, you don't have to spend all that mony for all that glossy picture paper for that wonderful do-it-yourself look.

I don't know bout that. The photography company that I work for went digital last year and I thought that well there goes the bussiness. Well I was wrong we get better quality pictures now than we did with film and our prints look better in most cases. :D if you don't believe me go to our site www.thsphoto.com/neidel I'd suggest that you look at union city on sun if you look go toward the last pages those are the coolest ones. and yes all of these are done with a digital camera. These photo's are all shot with a Canon eos 1 d with a fixed 2.8 lens if you look at any of the night time shots we do have a flash system that we set up around the arena for lighting. I hope that you enjoy
