This is a picture I did on Photoshop CS4, the FIFA 10 Template is one layer, David Beckham is another layer and the stadium in the background is another layer. I'm new to Photoshop so how do I make only David Beckham smaller and keep everything else the same size?

Highlight the David Beckham layer in the layers palette, then click Ctrl+T for the transform tool. Hold down the shift to scale proportionally.
