*ahem* going back on topic, I think both can be used for a splash, but, there are a few things that bug me.

For the second one:

Ichi: The yellow circular spot on the Slice and Pencil tool.

Ni: The noise near the top is kind of annoying. Well, maybe that's because it's not chopped. ~~

The noise around the border shouldn't be there, i did that in the morning and the light was hitting my monitor...i can see it now, i'll update it tomorrow.

nevermind, after I zoomed in i noticed it was just the reflecton of the yellow pin. :p
