I think that is a really cool splash, but I'd have to agree with !moOchan!, what is making it 820kb? I took a really large ps image and checked it out at 60% as a jpg and it was under 100k, where is the other 700k coming from?

an 820k splash page?! what is the world coming to? it is a really nice image, but you need to learn about preparing images for the web!

the one you posted is a thumbnail? how big is the original? i think that 'thumbnail' is a good size (pixel size, not file size) for your splash page. needs to be alot sharper though.

Thanks for the tips so far guys..I have actually tried saving for Web in PS as well and have had my 800x600(pixel size) image under 100kb but the text starts to look a bit rough but I'm working on it

I do most of my stuff for print so up 'till this point 100kb seemed tiny never mind 800kb......

Hey it's a learning curve(....

Glad you like the content though

Cheers again D

Hope it makes it to that great screen in the void but anyways got other ideas busting out and don't want watch those KB's forever or I'll be fading away......

Keep up the good work all and spaek to ya soon
